"セブンイレブンの闇。 　読了後、この闇の底が透けて見えた時、飲食フランチャイズ が善意の集団に思えたほどです。 　また楽天市場の集金システムなど、語弊を怖れずに いうなら中学生のカツアゲと、ヤクザのみかじめ料の 違いがあります。 　巧妙で狡猾で冷血です。 　本書より少しだけ紹介します。 ・弁当値引き問題を政治力で潰そうとした疑い ・セブンイレブン開業時にオーナーの全資産、そこに 　は土地やローン、はては家計に属する食費までを 　本部に報告しなければならない ・セブンイレブンの「経営」をしながら、他のバイト 　をしていたオーナーの自殺 ・生活窮乏を訴えると廃棄弁当を食べろと指導 ・赤字改善を相談すると「家計簿をみせろ」 ・父親の手術日でもオーナー懇親会は絶対出席 ・寝ずに働いても貯金が減り、貯金が無くなる借金が 　増える。その借金相手はセブンイレブン 　などなど、きりがありません。 　その中でも特に普通の商売をしている私からみて おかしなことは 「買い掛けに利息」 　がかかること。商売をしていると日々の現金払いは 現実的でなく、ひと月単位でまとめて決済するのです がこの時の「支払いが済んでいない商品」を債権とし て利息を付けているというのです。 　日本の商習慣ではあり得ないことです"
